The Hopland Wellness Center is excited to be partnering with a Direct Primary Care (DPC) physician in 2026/27.

 

We are raising funds to remodel our facility in order to provide a patient appropriate environment, and gathering non-binding priority sign-ups for those interested in future membership.

What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model in which patients receive comprehensive primary care services through a simple monthly membership rather than traditional insurance billing. This subscription-style approach typically includes

​

  • unlimited office visits

  • longer appointment times

  • direct messaging with the doctor

  • convenient same-day or next-day scheduling.

 

Patients benefit from more personalized attention, stronger doctor–patient relationships, and significantly reduced wait times. By removing insurance barriers, DPC allows providers to focus on prevention, wellness, and truly individualized care, often resulting in fewer urgent care visits, better chronic disease management, and overall improved health outcomes.
